سورۃ الفاتحہ آیات نمبر: 7-1

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ

شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔ 

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 

(اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۱

سب تعریف اللہ تعالٰی کے لیے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پالنے والا ہے۔  

 [All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds.

sab tareef Allah kay lia hay jo tamam jihanoon ka palnay wala hay.

(الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ۙ﴿۲

بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا۔

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

bara mehrban nihayat raham karnay wala.

(مٰلِکِ یَوۡمِ الدِّیۡنِ ؕ﴿۳

بدلے کے دن  ( یعنی قیامت  )  کا مالک ہے۔

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 

badlay kay din (yani qiyamat) ka malik hay.

(اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَ اِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۴

ہم صرف تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور صرف تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں۔  

It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 

ham sirf teri hi ebadat kartay hain or tujh hi say madad chahtay hain.

(اِہۡدِ نَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِیۡمَ ۙ﴿۵

ہمیں سیدھی  ( اور سچی  ) راہ دکھا ۔ 

Guide us to the straight path. 

hamain sidhi (or sachi) raah dikha.

 ۙ ۬صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ    

اُن لوگوں کی راہ جن پر تو نے انعام کیا

 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor

un logoon ki raah jin par tu nay inaam kiya.

(غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ ﴿۷ 

 ان کی نہیں جن پر غضب کیا گیا اور نہ گمراہوں کی ۔  

not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

in ki nahi jin par ghazab kiya gaya or na gumrahoon ki.
